I was able to sit down with 3rd degree black belt Professor Keith Owen on the podcast this past weekend and discuss Jiu Jitsu. I have been honored to have been able to learn from him for many years. Keith has a passion and insight for jiu jitsu that is pretty cool. In part one of a two part series, I decided to push topics that aren't mainstream in typical jiu jitsu interviews. In this episode we chat about:
-Did Keith like the Mandalorian, what's better for seminars theme or Q&A sessions, learning basics vs complex moves, listening to others about getting older in jiu jitsu, that person in your school who doesn't tap, black belts aren't invincible but are expect to be, different levels of moves and what is better offense or defense.
