At its core, sustainable innovation represents a departure from the linear "take-make-dispose" model which has been the dominant business rationale. Sustainability embraces circular thinking, seeks to create systems where waste is minimised, resources are maximally utilised and the potential for regeneration is embedded into every creation of the value chain. In this episode of the Thinking Reimagined Podcast®️, Kymberly Peterside (Aviator, CEO, Crimson Blue Company and Coffeely), Prince Kayode Oguntayo (Agripreneur specialising in the fruits & vegetables value chain) and Dr. Ama (Executive Producer and Co-founder and Chair, Africa Sustainable Trade) shed light on a promising shift towards sustainable innovations in agriculture which could redefine the economic landscape. The shift to non-oil export is critical for transformative growth and development. As the world's second most traded commodity, coffee could undoubtedly serve as a significant trade commodity for many countries including Nigeria. Creating the Coffee value proposition requires innovation, skills acquisition, financing and most importantly human capacity building. Joining Dr. Ama on this episode of Thinking Reimagined®️ are Peter Armand Boyo (Co-Producer, Director, Actor, Filmmaker & Brand Ambassador) and Nifemi Oguntoye (Co-host) as they delve into modern technologies such as hydroponics, vertical farming and controlled environment agriculture which offer adaptable solutions to reshape the agricultural landscape. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thinking-reimagined/message
