International Jazz Day is the culmination of Jazz Appreciation Month, which draws public attention to jazz and its extraordinary heritage throughout April.
Each year I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful celebration by presenting some of the best of the jazz world's newest music. All of this music has been released since the start of this year and appear on albums featured prominently across jazz radio, once again showing that jazz today is very much alive and thrives as well as it ever has.
