A Simple Exercise If You Fall Off The Metaphorical Wagon - Will You Try It?
Manage episode 330821537 series 3359313
In today's episode, Shauna chats about falling off the metaphorical "horse" in life.
This can be a new diet, a relationship, not yelling, a program/course/new habit you're looking to add or take out of your life, things like smoking, drinking, adding healthy habits or removing unhealthy habits, being committed to your health, exercise routine...you get the gist.
So often, when we fall off or get off track, our minds go to these three things - over-thinking, guilt or crappy self-talk.
Has there ever been a time that guilt or beating yourself up really helped you?
Likely not.
Let's kick that to the curb and use this method the next time you fall off your routine.
So, let's be kind and gentle with ourselves that we're human and make mistakes. And now, moving forward, just get back on the horse.
No more overthinking. No more crap self talk. No more guilt. No more poo-pooing on yourself.
Give the episode a listen and let us know what you think when you start practicing just getting back up.
Let's goooooo.
Thanks for listening.
