The Official Rugby World Cup Podcast, presented by Asahi Super Dry is back. In this episode, we are joined by two World Cup legends in All Black flyhalf Andrew Mehrtens, and Springbok World Cup winner Schalk Brits to look at their stellar careers and how they see their respective countries faring at this World Cup.

We’re also joined by Scotland’s Johnnie Beattie to preview a do-or-die clash against Ireland, and Adam Coleman joins us from Tonga camp to give us the lowdown on their campaign, and who was their toughest opponent between the Boks, Ireland and South Africa.

Andrew Mehrtens is on cracking form as he gives some insight into some of the niggle in the current All Blacks camp and how this is spurring them on, his thoughts on Foster, as well as reflecting on his selfless drop goal miss in 95, and playing alongside the all-time great of Jonah Lomu.

We also hear about the impact South Africa leaving Super Rugby has had on the All Blacks, Schalk gives us some examples of Rassie’s meticulous planning, why he thinks Ireland will still flop at this World Cup and what he thinks of the 7/1 split and Libbok v Pollard debate.

Lots more including some great Kanpai XV stories and the guys give their final predictions on who will list the Rugby World Cup in a few weeks’ time.

This is your definitive review & preview of all of the World Cup action, so sit back, relax and enjoy the Official Rugby World Cup Podcast, presented by Asahi Super Dry. #BeyondExpected
