We’re switching gears this week on The Nick Halaris Show and diving into a topic that our regular Profit+ readers will be very familiar with—fear.
Our guest is popular speaker and podcaster, Adam Hill, an expert in personal transformation and a leading voice for those hoping to establish a better relationship with fear in their lives. He’s the host of the Flow Over Fear Podcast, where I’ll be making an appearance soon, and the author of “Shifting Gears,” a bestselling book that chronicles his journey from struggling alcoholic to world class triathlete. When he’s not on stage or in front of a camera sharing his inspirational message, you’ll find him either with his family, working as the CEO of a 9-figure 4th generation family business, training for a triathlon, or even making Tri Comedy. Yes, that’s actually a thing!
Not only is Adam an incredibly humble and interesting person but he also has quite an inspirational story and message. What I respect so much about Adam is that he’s become this popular messenger for personal transformation not by talking about all the wins and successes he’s had in life but by sharing his struggles and failures. He’s literally living proof of the notion that there’s something special about a person who’s willing to be vulnerable.

In this fascinating conversation we cover:

· Adam’s Fight, Face, Embrace Framework for Fear

· Why “rising above” is a better way to think about the challenge of dealing with fear

· How to use fear to get into flow and stay there

· Why 80% effort + 5% past your comfort zone is optimal for growth

&

· Adam’s powerful vision for the responsibilities that come after a successful personal transformation

Adam also shares the story of his personal struggles with anxiety and alcoholism and offers advice for anyone suffering in similar ways.

Thanks again for tuning-in!
