Bill Perkins is an American hedge fund manager, entrepreneur, and high-stakes poker player. He is known for his successful career in finance and as a venture capitalist, having founded multiple companies and investing in startups.
He's also an avid poker player, frequently competing in high-stakes tournaments and cash games. He has authored a book on personal finance and achieving financial freedom called "Die with Zero", where he makes the point that you should NOT work your whole life to save money and spend it when you're old.
