Four years ago, Jacquie Duckworth co-founded Uninvisibility - a company with a singular mission to get midlife women back into work after extended career breaks. She joins James to explain how the company’s eight-week training course, Visible Start, is empowering women aged 45 and over to build a new narrative when it comes to their careers. The course, which was set up in partnership with Brixton Finishing School and sponsored by WPP, has so far been taken by 100 women with 18 going on to land jobs at WPP media agencies - including Fiona Cameron, who joins the conversation to share how the experience led to her becoming Senior Learning and Development Business Partner at GroupM. Their fascinating conversation spans the competitive advantage of having midlife women in your workforce, tackling women’s tendency to default to an apologetic position, and where to start when it comes to building confidence in their own skills.
