Are Black Churches The Cause of Diabetes Plus Black Folks Can't Afford Insurance

For decades many black churches served dinner after the last service of every Sunday. And most of what we ate at church transferred to what we ate at our homes. It begin way back in slavery and it continues til this day! We are creatures of habit yet this habit is causing many of our people to have complications that leads to an early death. Diabetes among African Americans is one of the leading causes of death. And yet we rarely talk about our lifestyles in those very said churches that we worship in each Sunday. Today we will try to discuss why this is the leading cause of our demise as well as why black folks are dying mainly because of lack of health insurance and proper medical attention.
