"The Fed's playbook is to go bigger for longer," warns Chris Versace, chief investment officer of Tematica Research. Versace tells our Daniela Cambone, "there will be 50 to 75 bps hikes at the November and December FOMC," based on the inflation data forecasted through the rest of 2022.

He urges viewers not to "fight the Fed" as the housing market rolls over and highlights that the Fed warned, "there will be some pain experienced." The strength of the U.S. dollar is holding gold down, "but other commodities are rallying such as wheat, corn, soybeans, and others," Versace concludes.
