Blurred Line Episode 3: Ken Hioki, Japanese-Thai experiences life in three different countries
Manage episode 321776855 series 3171219
Welcome back to The Blurred Line podcast!
This week we've got my good friend, Ken Hioki. Ken and I know each other from attending the same university and the same BJJ gym. He's a Japanese-Thai born in Phuket, Thailand, but has lived many years in Thailand, Japan, and even the US! Ken has just moved back to Thailand after living in Tokyo for quite a while, so I definitely wanted to have him on this podcast before he left. We go on to talk about a variety of subjects ranging from his experiences in each country he's lived in, to his experiences in corporate Japan. Among other things, we also talked about influences from childhood and then a bit about our lives doing BJJ together (maybe a little too much. I'll be sure to control myself more lol).
Thanks for listening guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while. I could sit here and make excuses, but to be honest, I just wasn't being disciplined enough. I've already got 2 other episodes recorded and edited and will be posting each video two weeks apart so you will have time to watch each one without stress. I'll be recording more episodes along the way so there'll always be something for me to post. If you have any feedback, both positive and negative, please let me know. I'm having fun doing it, but I want you to enjoy the experience as well!
Next episode we have Ekam Bedi! He's half Indian, half Japanese and is a real "Sikh" guy! (Yeah I said it, sue me)
