Today’s guest is my Pastor, Travis Hearn, the Senior Pastor of Impact Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. Impact—a dynamic megachurch—began as a Bible study for the Arizona Cardinals and has since expanded to welcome 10,000 members every Sunday! Travis has been the Team Chaplain for the Phoenix Suns for 23 seasons and has also served as Chaplain for several MLB and NFL teams. His life took a dramatic turn one year ago when he faced a life-threatening stroke that put his faith to the test, revealing God’s miraculous power in his recovery. It’s a powerful reminder that, no matter what you’re going through, God is with you, working for your good. Now, in his new book, The Fire is For You, he shares the personal journey through one of his life’s most challenging experiences—a massive brain bleed and hemorrhagic stroke that brought his faith to the ultimate test. But through it all, God was with him, showing up in the fire and transforming the impossible into a miracle.
