Manage episode 422789641 series 2996601
In December of 1983 a hospital maintenance worker at El Centro Médico de Especialidades in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua was tasked with dismantling old equipment to sell for scrap metal at a local junkyard. Today, we’ll discuss how this nuclear disaster happened, how the incident was discovered, and some of the people that were affected.
