Most entrepreneurs are looking to amplify their impact through their work, whether it’s as a speaker, a composer or an author. With the proliferation of accessible media tools, creators now have broader avenues to disseminate their messages to diverse audiences and organizations. Aalia Lanius embodies this dual role, serving as the COO and “Chief Creative Officer” of media law firm Convergence Media Law, which funds and produces documentaries and movies world-wide. She also founded a non-profit media company UNSUGARCOATED™Media, a 501c3 media enterprise dedicated to social awareness as an author.
Becoming homeless at age 14, Aalia pulled herself up to start her first company at age 25. She is now using podcasts, print publications, short documentaries, events, and more to tell stories of empowerment in the face of adversity and trauma that includes suicide, divorce, financial struggles, addiction, and other social issues.
