"If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ's servant." By surrendering to Christ, we can overcome people-pleasing and reach our full potential. There was a time when I found myself constantly trying to get approval from others - friends, family, even strangers. To put it simply, it was exhausting. I finally found true freedom when I surrendered my life to Christ. And let me tell you, it wasn't easy. In order to surrender my life to Christ, I had to let go of my ego and trust in God's sovereignty. In other words, it meant focusing on pleasing God rather than pleasing people. There was only one master to serve. It is written in the Bible that a person cannot serve two masters, so pleasing others takes priority over God's sovereignty. Paul's transformation in Galatians from a Christian persecutor to a dedicated follower of Christ was enabled by the powerful influence of the Holy Spirit. It's not just about Paul's story - it's about ours as well. Where can we find our identity solely in Christ? Rather than seeking validation from others, we find our self-worth in Him. It can be difficult to live in a state where your morals and values do not align with the policies in place. The result may be frustration, exhaustion, and exhaustion. Here are some ways to cope with it. Living in a state where I disagree with politics, I have found ways to pray for change and maintain my inner peace. I prefer to "bless and release" people who have differing opinions and move on. This ensures that they do not waste their time on meaningless arguments that can never be resolved. In a society where people live in such division, this is an excellent approach to staying sane and maintaining peace of mind. Both conservatives and liberals should adopt a kingdom perspective and emphasize the importance of souls coming to Christ and receiving eternal life. It is our responsibility as Christians to fulfill the great commission regardless of policies or events in our nation or city. I encourage you to pray for your nation or city and plead for Jesus' blood. Despite current events, I want you to know that God is sovereign. It's up to you to seek God's will when he wants you to be His mouthpiece in a battle. Logic and critical thinking are important. In my opinion, society teaches us what to think, not how to think. Being told what to think is different from being taught how to think. It can be challenging to live in a state where morals don't align with policies, but it isn't impossible. It is possible to maintain sanity and peace of mind in such circumstances by adopting a kingdom perspective, focusing on the great commission, and praying. The mission of my ministry is to promote a Christian worldview that recognizes redemption, restoration, and victory in Christ. Let me share my own experience with the education system, including my struggle with dyslexia. This gives you some background on why I'm not sending my kids to public school. Schools push an agenda that contradicts Christ. Ask yourself some vital questions about government involvement in education and social justice movements. I wanted to share my family's journey with education, even though I don't think we should have to justify our choices. If you're thinking about homeschooling, trust your gut. You can make homeschooling work with grants, scholarships, and community support. Whatever you choose, you should make your own decisions based on what's best for your family. I think a private Christian school is the best fit for my family right now. Learning in such an environment equips children to fight the enemy and a worldview from a young age. It's not an easy conversation to have for most parents, especially when your children are used to the gifts that come from a mythical figure. But stripping away the lies has deepened my children's faith in God and allowed us as a family to prioritize our faith over cultural norms. There's been a question about why I haven't shared my viewpoint on recent tragedies that have hit our country, and today I'll answer that. "Hear God's voice in the chaos of motherhood and be comforted by His presence." My experiences as a mother of four taught me about Faith in God, motherhood, and listening to God's Voice. For decades, network marketing has been a business model. Due to the gig economy and the great resignation, there has been a significant shift in recent years. There are now many people looking for alternative incomes online. It is unfortunate that there are still some outdated and harmful narratives that need to be debunked. These are the top three narratives and why they need to die. 1. Demonization of the Nine-to-Five. Nattriaves like this are extremely harmful. It implies that those still employed in traditional jobs do not give their families enough time. It insults those who love their jobs. Having multiple sources of income can be beneficial for most people. 2. Defensive Content. You will have to defend your company if you create defensive content. Making money through network marketing is a viable option. In order to partner with a company, you do not have to prove your choice. Content such as this reinforces the stigma surrounding the industry 3. Posting Checks. It is frowned upon by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Posting checks can create unrealistic expectations for those who are just starting out in the industry. My goal for this year is to read the Bible chronologically. Going through the Bible, I see God is highlighting persistence throughout. As a result of experiencing this in my own life so strongly, I have changed the bio on my Instagram account to tell my own story of persistence. Persistence is the mark of a believer. As God works in me, I expect him to create a new level of persistence in me. Your health goals may be long gone by now, but I encourage you not to give up on yourself. Maybe you should try again. The only way to get from point A to point B is through persistence, so I want to address this really sabotaging mindset of all or nothing. Life can not be all or nothing. Living in an all-or-nothing mindset sets you up for shame. This is not how God wants you to live your life. The more connected we are to our creator, to our Heavenly Father, the more likely we are to know what's coming and what's going on instead of holding on to everything and letting go of it all. This is not a healthy habit you want in your life. This will create a habit of quitting in you, and you don't want that. As I embrace this new level of persistence this year, new things will come my way. This is why the Lord gave me the word, Expectancy, for my word for 2023. Hustle is one of my favorite things. The key to success in life and business is hard work. We must find a balance between toxic hustle culture and anti-hustle culture. There are several passages in the Bible about work and diligence, as well as using one's talents. However, the Bible also stresses the value of balance and self-care. According to Genesis, God rested on the seventh day of creation, setting an example for humans. There is a need to balance hard work and diligence with rest and self-care in these passages. Overdoing "hustle culture" can lead to burnout. Anti-culture can also lead to failure before you give it a chance to succeed and run the risk of becoming lazy. Does worrying add a single moment to your life? The Lord does not expect you to fix your behavior before he helps you. Even though, my Heavenly Father reminded me of that I felt as if my body was taking over. I was having doubts in my mind. He still met me where I was. God still was there despirte my doubt. And still performed Miracle after Miracle. We are all humans, and we all need Christ. That needs to be embedded in your body today. Do you not go to Him because you think your behavior needs to improve? His love is not based on you being perfect. It is so clear in the Bible that you cannot earn it. It is freely given. Through the blood of Jesus. Therefore, I want to encourage you to go to him with your turbulent mess.
