A Year Ago, and a Year from Now

Real Life Shhh... with Chrissy

As I reflect on my own personal last year in 2023, I think about how much of my life was inspired by the first vision board that I created in January of 2023, I am pleasantly surprised with how my vision board came to life. The truth is prior to this year, I though of vision boards as a little cheesy… now I am a big fan and I guess I am that cheesy vision board chick, because I plan on continuing this inspirational act of putting together a glittery collage to remind me of my goals every morning as I wake, I strategically placed this in your face glitter bomb vision board on my wall so that it is the last thing I close my eyes to and the first thing I wake up to. Every single image that I put up on this cheesy vision board came to life(with the exception of a closet office space, that I am currently in the works with). The amount of joy that is apparent in this vision board has been amplified in real life and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am actively seeking my hopes and dreams with action and gratitude. There is an image of my youngest son on a drum set at guitar center, he looks so joyful and took this picture in a moment of shock, because I couldn’t believe the natural rhythm this kid had on the drum set, my son now has his own little drum set that he loves, can he play one written song… no, he is 5, but it is clear that he still has that natural rhythm and joy when he plays his drums at home. Some of the other images that are on my board morphed into something greater than I originally imagined, an image of a microphone that I cut out and glued onto my vision board was intended to inspired me to sing on stage in front of a large audience, but I guess the Divine had a better plan for me, this podcast came to life and I actually did perform on stage in front of 300 plus people, but not as singer, as a dancer. I feel that the majority of this board was spiritual based with strong yearning for connection to whoever would listen to my song, my story and my soul…
