Welcome to the Open Seat Podcast! On today's episode, we discuss the qualities and characteristics of good Bible translations. Next, we discuss how the different goals and interpretations of translation groups lead to a spectrum of English Bible translations, and we discuss how these versions are different. We end by providing four examples of similarities and differences in various English translations as they work to capture the original meaning of the Greek.
