In the Far East, there is a tree called the Chinese bamboo tree. This remarkable tree is different from most trees in that it doesn’t grow in the usual fashion. Like any plant, the Chinese bamboo tree requires nurturing, water, fertile soil, and sunshine; Yet, in its first year, there are no visible signs of activity above the soil. In the second year, again, no growth above the soil.
