Sadly it isn't at all that uncommon/surprising with all the unrealistic standards and expectations placed on us by the Media, Culture, and even enforced by our own families. This episode covers our own experiences, the insecurities that we have struggled with growing up surrounded by such pressures to conform to a certain look or standard of beauty expected by an ever judging Filipino society. We cover how we deal with negative feelings, such as learning to manage our thoughts and ourselves and distancing ourselves from toxic family members.
