41. Season Three Opener with Kevin Garcia
Manage episode 286385419 series 2642902
Season Three of Making Spaces had to begin with one of our favorite space makers... Kevin Garcia. Kevin is a Spiritual Director and Intuitive Life Coach. Through his work as a digital pastor and public theologian, Kevin has used their writing, podcast, and YouTube Channel to help foster communities of authentic spiritual seeking, helping people pull apart bad theology and beginning to reconstruct sustainable spiritual practices. Kevin is a fantastic conversation partner and a recurring guest of the making spaces podcast. This episode includes a conversation about why we need to face mortality to truly live, and how to make space for our own grief. Kevin reminded us that grief is a lovely dancing partner and that only by being willing to dance can we move through our grief and continue to dance with all the partners life throws at us!
Content warning- You may feel your own trauma activated by some of the content of this episode- it discusses death, the use of drugs, and spiritual trauma. Please listen with awareness and listener discretion is advised.
