With limited space and resources, Smith set up a modest recording rig amidst an array of plants, recording primarily at night to capture the serene, reflective atmosphere that defines ‘Land of Music’. The album’s carefree energy flows from this unique environment, immersing listeners in Smith’s sonic vision of an idyllic island life. Blending dreamy synthesizer pads, groovy beats, and smooth vocals, the album evokes a relaxing, high-vibe journey from start to finish.
