Tommy Dean writes and edits flash fiction and also teaches creative writing courses that focus on flash fiction as well as writing in general. He stopped by Ledger to talk about flash - which are usually stories of 1,000 words or less - including Hollow, a collection of his work out through Alternating Current Press. What does success look like for a writer? Is writing flash easier than writing long-form fiction?
