Journey to the Heart

From the creators of the hit podcast The Flame comes a brand new scripted musical podcast Journey to the Heart! This six episode audience-interactive podcast musical will premiere everywhere podcasts are hosted on January 22nd, 2024.

In a world where everyone shares a tattoo with their soulmate, you'd think falling in love would be easy. Journey to the Heart follows three best friends as they go on an adventure of a lifetime. Albina, Babette, and Charlie are displeased with their soulmate tattoo, or lack of one, which leads them to go on an adventure that will change their lives forever. Journey to the Heart will be the first "choose your own journey" podcast musical. The audience will get to decide where the story goes and your choices will influence what happens as the story develops.

Journey to the Heart will be a 6 episode limited series, featuring some of the brightest talents across Film, TV, and voiceover! The series is produced by Ellie Brigida (Scoring and Music Producer), Leigh Holmes Foster (Composer and Music Director), Valerie Rose Lohman (Executive Producer and Director), and Caitlyn Clear (Book and Director).

The star-studded cast includes Zehra Fazal (She-Ra and the Princesses of Power) as Albina, Valerie Rose Lohman (BAFTA Nominee, What Remains of Edith Finch) as Babette, Ellie Brigida (The Flame the Musical) as Charlie, Jess Darow (Disney’s Encanto) as Esme, Cissy Jones (BAFTA Winner, Firewatch) as Dottie, Keston John (The Owl House) as Damon, Devon Hales (Teenage Bounty Hunters) as Illiana, Isaac Robinson-Smith as Duncan, Leigh Holmes Foster (The Flame the Musical) as Rosalind, and Henry Alexander Kelly as Castle.

The project is produced by Dollar Bean Productions and Lez Hang Out. Dollar Bean Productions was a 2022 Webby Nominee with their debut musical, The Flame. Lez Hang Out has been featured on LOGO's list of “Podcasts in the golden age of queer women”, HER's list of "The Best LGBTQ+ Podcasts You Should Be Listening To", and is a two-time Queerties Awards Nominee for Best Podcast. Their mission and passion is to highlight diverse representations on screen and to create the content for our community that we’ve always wanted to see.
