Planting the Seed of God's Word. Notes: 1. The lack of knowing and understanding Scripture is the root of all of our problems. o Mark 4:3-9 (NKJV) o Mark 4:13-20 (NKJV) 2. This whole planet operates off of this seed principle. o Genesis 1:11 (NKJV) 3. The AVERAGE Christian doesn't know intimately what the word of God actually says. o 1 Peter 1:23 (NKJV) 4. Seed = 4701. σπορά sporá; to sow. The act of sowing, seedtime. Figuratively for spiritual seed or the Word of God. 5. 4703. σπόρος spóros; to sow. Seed, seed that is supplied for sowing Equivalent to the word spérma (4690) 6. 4690. σπέρμα spérma; Originally spérma was used of plants as seed; the spérma of God denotes the power of God operative through the Holy Spirit working in believers. Also figuratively used of living beings as the seed of man. o Mark 4:26-27 (NKJV) 7.
