Kat de Haën is a co-founder of The Fourth Effect, a board marketplace dedicated to closing the gender power, wealth and funding gap. She is passionate about women’s initiatives and evolving new opportunities to support other change-makers, leaders, and founders. She delights in bringing together people who can help each other in business, career, and life. Kat first started her entrepreneurial journey as an inventor of a popular consumer beauty product which she brought to market internationally. She then went on to launch an upscale silk fashion line. She started her career in sales and product development in the fashion and beauty industry working with major retailers. Born in Zurich, Switzerland and raised in Seattle. She currently lives in New York City with her husband, Jon Colman and their daughter Sophie who has gone on to build her own art business while going to university.
