The five interconnecting pods echoing fossils of the area form the Buhais Geological Park, where visitors can expect model-based interactive displays that explore Sharjah’s mountains and sand dunes. Visitors can also learn about the origins of the limestone mountain ranges of Jebel Buhais, and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to examine local rocks and fossils.
In the first episode, Abdul Karim takes us through the indoor halls of the Geology Park, setting the tone of what to explore in the outdoor viewing area. We learn about the geological formation of the UAE and the historical treasures found in the area.
