The Green History Podcast begins with its weekly interactive audio adventures into Islamic history. In the very first episode we take you to the Saudi Arabia in its early modern state around 1938 in order to recount the events that occurred in the Hijaz and how the Al-Saud clan became its leading family at a time of great unrest and bloody tribal rivalries during the final days of the Ottoman Khilafa.
