Welcome to the second episode of the Geek Therapeutics Podcast! This week we have the amazing Shawn Thomas as our special guest! So, sit back relax and enjoy learning about an amazing individual with an amazing plan!
Shawn Thomas is a father of two adorable-bratty girls and husband to his best friend in Ankeny, IA. He is a full-time Dungeon Master with 25+ years of experience, has created his own fantasy realm and runs a business to help provide exceptional (and safe!) D&D sessions for anyone interested. For Therapeutic D&D sessions he is able to partner with other mental health providers where he takes on the responsibilities of running session-related content and frees up the provider to focus on their client and help them move forward towards stability and/or healing. Prior to being a full-time Dungeon Master Shawn was successful as an AVP of Technology in the life insurance space, A technology solutions architect with IBM, and has worked numerous day-to-day labor-based jobs prior to his technology career.
