A special extra episode of the pod in which Andy interviews Phoenix Andrews co-author of BBC Books' The Monster Vault (with Jonathan Morris). As well as asking all the important questions (such as: Daleks or Cybermen?), Andy finds out how Phoenix became involved in the project, how it was written during the pandemic and some of their favourite entires in the book. He also shares his own favourite nuggets from the tome: how the Ogri move, why Davros created the Giant Clams, and whether it was actually the Rills who shot first! Along the way the pair discuss fandom, the 'not my Doctor' idiots, which monsters should return next series, and why no-one has yet written a story in which Wirrn endlessly topple out of cupboards. You should all buy at least 1 copy of the book, not only because we should be massively supporting creative types in these dark times, but also because The Monster Vault is just gorgeous.
