"I'm in a bit of a dilemma, my mom, who has dementia, went into the hospital last week for internal bleeding. The hospital wants to discharge her, and I said no. She was in ICU, intubated and restrained and now seems worse and started sundowning. They said if I don't pick her up, they will call Adult Protective Services on me. I don't know what to do. I work full time and now she can barely walk. Any advice? "
