Continuing with the "Mending the Black Family" series, Dr.'s Tyrone and LaTanya Tyson look at the increasing trend of young people leaving the church. Seeing more violence, disrespect, hypersexuality, and general sinfulness in the younger generation, it's all just symptoms of a larger problem. What the Tysons call the Gospel of "No" represents a restrictive and oppressive theology that is driving young people away from church and is antithetical to the Gospel of grace. This is a subject that has a far reaching effect and is only one cause of the break down of the family unit.
