Manage episode 454743468 series 3563286
During the holiday season there are many things to celebrate. There are traditions made and kept, church services attended, Christmas caroling, Christmas presents, Christmas movies and so much more. But have you thought about celebrating you this season? During this episode I want to dive into 12 different ways you can celebrate you because you deserve it.
Points to covered:
Quote of the week: “You are the most important person in your life. Your relationship with yourself defines your relationships with every other person you encounter. Celebrate yourself and celebrate all those around you.” Avina Celeste
Here are 12 ways you can celebrate you during the holidays:
· Connect with your successes: what have you achieved over the last year? Make a list.
· Everything! List everything that you’re proud of, big or small, from all areas of life.
· Learn from your mistakes: remember that every mistake is a lesson so include your learnings on your achievement list.
· Enjoy your achievements: review your achievements list. Take a few moments to enjoy, absorb and appreciate how far you have come.
· Boost your celebration: it’s more fun with others. Who could you include in your celebration?
· Reward yourself: what useful or beautiful gift (big or small) could you buy for yourself to symbolize your success
· Activities can also be rewards: what activity could reward you? What would put a smile on your face, for example day hiking, the spa, a fabulous dinner out?
· The 4W’s: plan your celebration. Decide what, when, where, and who you celebrate with.
· Express gratitude: spread the celebration. Tell the people that helped you along the way that you appreciate them - and why.
· You are awesome: know that your inner strength, hard work, focus and energy made your success happen.
· Observe who you are: review your achievements list. What are the common themes? What do they say about who you are?
· Upcoming opportunities and challenges: know you’re capable of both achieving and overcoming any opportunities and challenges in your future.
