Welcome to the CineFix Top 100! Our biggest list yet! Clint Gage and his co-hosts Michael Calabro and Alex Stedman compiled lists of their own personal top 100’s, which were subsequently smashed together by a nonsense algorithm to create an unwieldy and surprising list of 100 VERY good movies. Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin’s first foray into global destruction cinema brought us some truly Brilliant Moments and Clint, Cal and Alex dig into the practical and miniature effects that allow the movie to hold up all these years later, where it ranks among Will Smith movies, whether or not it’s peak Jeff Goldblum, Things You Didn’t Know about the film’s casting and behind the scenes and finally, Cal reveals his utter disdain for one of the characters before we found out how high this epic disaster masterpiece ranks in the CineFix Top 100.
