Prophetic Relationships - Part 1
Manage episode 425389043 series 3280086
When God created man, He allowed him to experience both the Creator and His creation. Adam enjoyed communion with God. However, even within the garden, God observed him and remarked, "It is not good for man to be alone."
This makes it evident that God wired man for connection and divine relationships right from the very beginning. Even though Adam was in the perfect garden, in the presence of God Himself, God recognized that Adam needed a helper. Together, Adam and Eve were meant to carry out God's purpose, fulfill their assignment and calling and produce offspring who would be the extension of God. And this serves as a prototype from which every relationship on Earth flows.
There was a helper inside of Adam but it required the Father to assist Adam in locating his own helpmate. Adam instantly loved Eve for she was a part of him, she was the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh. The beauty of prophetic relationships is that they are made of the same fabric. You cannot be a part of two different worlds and journey towards the same destiny. Confusion ensues when destiny and vision collide.
When your relationships are in alignment, the encounters and grace one receives are also received by the other. The presence of God can impact and touch an individual even when they are not there in person, solely due to their alignment with the person who is present in the room.
Your relationships are a reflection of where you are in life and depending on the level, you attract and sustain the same. Study your relationships to identify what feeds, nurtures, and sustains them. If you want to upgrade your relationships, you must upgrade yourself first. Change begins with you! You cannot be spiritual and yet have carnal relationships; your fire cannot be turned on and off like a switch. Radiate your light consistently, regardless of your circumstances and your company.
How does God send help? He sends you a man or woman of God who is on fire, one that comes from the very presence of God and puts his mantle on you like Elijah did; if you are intelligent, you will perceive it and grow into his stature. Elijah was a window into who Elisha could become but it was a choice Elisha had to make. You are a product of the voice you submit to and choose to follow, and by submitting to the word, you unlock the world behind it. You become more like the word as you listen and yield to it.
Many of us congregate and form relationships over our pain. We find kindred spirits in pain because we like to be understood. It’s a beautiful feeling to experience empathy—to finally come to a place where you feel seen and heard. However, pain is not meant to be permanent; don’t stay there forever; move towards being healed and made whole. You get to determine if you want to remain in the company of empathizers or pursue help. Choose destiny over empathy.
Perhaps you have endured a difficult childhood and painful circumstances. It is possible that, while you may have grown physically, you’ve never confronted the child who endured the trauma and pain. God has a purpose for the mature man in you, and it is critical that you be healed in every area. In this season, God requires that you redefine your DNA and your relationships. He desires maturity, for the work He intends to do in and through you can only be accomplished by a mature vessel.
It is possible to be in the presence of a deliverer and not be delivered. Today we live in a generation where knowledge abounds, yet understanding is scarce and that is why many don’t bear fruit. You have understanding when your knowledge empowers you to produce results. Knowledge merely talks, while understanding creates. You are a true son or daughter when you can replicate the works of your Father.
Through this teaching, you have been given a prophetic opportunity to redefine your relationships. May you walk with understanding.ReplyReply to allForwardAdd reaction
