Dr. Richard Restak has published 25 books on the human brain, three of them New York Times best sellers. His essays and articles have appeared in the Washington Post and New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, Vogue and The American Scholar. He has been Profiled in the Washington Post, the New York Times and the Guardian. He is a past recipient of the Claude Bernard Science Journalism Award, given by the National Society for Medical Research. He served as President of The American Neuropsychiatric Association from 2005 to 2007.
