Since Louisiana is my home state, I wanted to find a way to help people impacted the most by this devastating storm. I am so happy to have met our guest today, Jennifer Weishaupt. She is the founder of Ruby Slipper Cafe, a very popular restaurant in New Orleans and most recently she founded Lagniappe Krewe, a non profit that supports service industry workers during a crisis. We talk about how she got started in the restaurant industry, how they have grown, and what led to the development of this amazing organization and how YOU can help!
