Mercury Retrogrades in Capricorn 12/8/23-1/1/24

Friday 12/8 begins Mercury's hibernation in Capricorn until the New Year 1/1/24. Mercury is focused on reviewing it's recent movements at the end of it's transit in Sagittarius. Moving back over the past month's themes and then going forward over the same thoughts that are percolating over the collective now in Capricorn will bring many many edits in how our thoughts cause actions that may have been precipitous or destructive to our lives and others.

The moon plays a big role this week as the outer planets will meet up with our emotional center as it drifts through Libra and Scorpio this weekend bringing profound messages from our inner guide on ways to fulfill our deep seeded dreams that drive our unconscious actions- breaking bad delusional self serving lies.

The moon meets up with the South Node in Libra today continuing to push the personal self narrative of empowerment through releasing the baggage of foggy selfishness from ourselves and others. The cosmic message of self love continues. Finding a safe center through meditation WILL HELP to ground ourselves through the carnage of explosive changes occurring in the outer world. Mental health WILL be an issue going forward as the solar flares and electromagnetic fields continue to bombard earthlings at a quickening pace as 2024 enters!!

Mercury's long visit to Capricorn, the sign ruled by Saturn representing time and structure, invites the need for a singular focus to achieving personal dreams. Rehashing the events of the past month during these very volatile planetary movements shines the light on how the collective reacts on the world stage under extreme conditions and where the focus lies.

The new moon in Sagittarius on 12/12/23 coincides with Mercury's retrograde in Capricorn. This Sagittarius new moon will conjoin Mars then the Sun also in Sagittarius- ruled by Jupiter, currently retrograde in Taurus- ruled by Venus. Confusion and a lack of priorities can bring on anxiety and stress as personal agendas clash with the collective cosmic message of empowerment through personal self love. Depending on the emotional landscape of the individuals globally, these qualities will be highlighted for good or bad!

This cosmic week promises epic momentum towards personal goals and the work needed to get to the finish line. Patience and kindness towards the self is valued over mindless impatient actions towards the self and others. Control is the key to Mercury in Capricorn with the knowing that the marathon of life is mental strength and faith in the universe and yourself.
