"My key takeaway would be that there is an urgency around the conversation. It doesn't matter how far away AGI is. AI is having an impact now. It's going to continue to have an impact. It's going to affect our lives. It's going to affect the lives of our children. We need to have the conversation now because we don't actually know how much time we have before it's too late to have the conversation." — Leanne Pooley

Leanne Pooley has been a documentary filmmaker for over 25 years and has directed films all over the world. In 2011 Leanne’s work was recognised by the New Zealand Arts Foundation and she was made a New Zealand Arts Laureate.
