On September 12th, 1979 a legend was born. Jua Cali, born Paul Julius Nunda goes by the stage name Jua Cali. He is one of the founding members of Genge, a sub-genre of Hip Hop and one of the sounds that defined Kenyan music and sound during the golden era of Kenyan music from the early 2000s to the late 2010s. In honor of Jua Cali's birthday and celebrating Genge as a genre being recognized in the 2024 Grammys Award #AdoVeliPodcast drops the first part of a six-part series interview we had with the King Of Genge, Jua Cali.
