Today marks the beginning of a new series on the truth about Generational Curses. We will be studying the Word of God in order to show that it is not possible for a born again believe, a Christian, to have a generational curse. The Lord came to set the captives free. If you are born again and believe you are still under some form of a curse, you captive in a lie born of doctrines of devils which has permeated the teachings of those, who, may mean well in their heart, but themselves are deceived, convinced and persuaded by false teachings that make sense, but in fact are false, and further lead the flock astray. The Lord certainly does not want any of His people to perish through lack of knowledge, or for you to reject the knowledge He has provided in His Word in order for you to truly be set free. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Acts 2:21, Ephesians 1:3, Numbers 23:8, Romans 8:1-2, Genesis 8:22, Romans 8:26-30. Support the show…

This week we are talking about overcoming, through the power of doing the Lord's fast and praying. We will discuss the benefits of fasting. The Lord's Fast - Isaiah 58 verse 5 - (Amplified Classic Version) - 5 Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord? 6 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke? 7 Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood? 8 Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking, 10 And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday. 11 And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. 12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Proverbs 4:20, Daniel 10:3, Isaiah 58:3-12, Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 6:16-18, Jonah 3:5-6, Jonah 3:8, Matthew 4:1-11, Acts 14:23, Nehemiah 1:3-4,Matthew 17:21, Joel 2:12-13,Ezra 8:23,Acts 13:2,Psalm 69:10,Psalm 69:13,Exodus 34:28,Psalm 63:6–7. During these times, reading the fine print can prevent a lot of things from occurring. If your phone is having issues, you go back to read the manual to see where something could have gone wrong. The same thing applies to the lives of believers. Did we read the fine print in the Bible pertaining to our walk in Christ? Pastor Catrice speaks on the topic this week. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): John 15:16-17; 1 John 4:16-17; 2 Peter 2:20-22; Luke 11:24-26; Galatians 2:20-21; Proverbs 18:20-21; Numbers 23:7-8; Philippians 4:8-9; Proverbs 23:7. The Love of the Father can never be underestimated. His love never ceasing in intensity for His Creation; desiring for us to be molded into the image of His Son. Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now. Even as the born again also groan inwardly, the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness. Even when we do not know how to pray, the Holy Spirit goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. This week we walk through the following passage of Scripture. We will let it Speak for Itself: Romans 6:6-18 (Amplified Classic Version): 6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. 7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men]. 8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 Because we know that Christ (the Anointed One), being once raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has power over Him. 10 For by the death He died, He died to sin [ending His relation to it] once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him]. 11 Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. 12 Let not sin therefore rule as king in your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies, to make you yield to its cravings and be subject to its lusts and evil passions. 13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members [and [l]faculties] to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to [perpetual] life, and your bodily members [and [m]faculties] to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness. 14 For sin shall not [any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace [as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]. 15 What then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we live not under Law but under God’s favor and mercy? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that if you continually surrender yourselves to anyone to do his will, you are the slaves of him whom you obey, whether that be to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience which leads to righteousness (right doing and right standing with God)? 17 But thank God, though you were once slaves of sin, you have become obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed. 18 And having been set free from sin, you have become the servants of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in thought, purpose, and action). Our soul (mind, will and emotions) is not transformed when we give our life to Christ. Our free will choice has full control over when it wants to begin transformation. This process only begins once we accept the Word of God (the Bible) as the Truth, and do it, not just hearing it, deceiving ourselves. While the portion of our mind that isn't yet renewed is carnal, and at enmity (war) with God, He still loves us nonetheless and wants us to be set free from our old understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). The soul that has been rescued by the Father through His Son Jesus, from out of the Kingdom of Darkness and into God's Own Kingdom has now been set free from sin. That is because the Christian is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), which is not subjected to the law of sin and death any more. That old self was buried in Christ. The Christian now has to make sure they continue to seek Jesus and remain in Christ, such that they are protected from slipping back into the world from which they were delivered from, and from which they were conformed to before. God created you to be you, the new you, not the fallen you. God has plans to prosper you, to give you a hope and a future, not to harm you. You now get to walk with God while His Word is transforming you..... for the first time since we were separated at the Tree in the Garden. This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): Romans 12:1-2, 1 John 1:8-9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 6:1-7, Romans 8:1-2 Support the show…

We used to sin before we were born again due to our fallen sinful nature. We were originally created in the image of God but our spirits fell when we obeyed Satan instead of God in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:6). For the born again Christian who made the decision for Christ, God has replaced the fallen spirit with a new regenerated one. God continues to transform the new believer's heart based on the will of the person. Throughout the ongoing transformative experience, the mind of the believer still has the free will choice to obey or disobey God’s commandments.
