this podcast is going to be all about 60's music. the goal with this podcast is to educate a younger generation on one of the greatest decades of music of all time, and to prove to people that Millennials can love 60's music as well and it's not just for Baby boomers. Each week I"m going to review one song by one artist from the 60's and split the podcast into two halfs. first half is going to be my perspective and my opinion on the song and why I think it's so good or why I don't think it's so great. then I'm going to talk about the history behind the group or artist that did the song and talk about the behind the scenes industry people and places that helped make it a hit (writers and producers, session musicians and band members and recording studios and chart positions, etc.) I will occasionally interview industry people from back then either over the phone or in person to give you a better glimpse of how the business worked back then and how much has changed since then, and to educate younger people on their careers and the songs they made famous to the people listening that may not be familiar with their music at all

Hey Guys! I know it's a little late to say Happy New Year since we are almost done with January but this is the first new episode of the year for this free version of this podcast. I know that the start of this year was rough for many people, and where I live in Los Angeles, it's especially hard because we were recently hit with some natural disasters if you didn't already know, but I have a feeling that the weather conditions out here will be on our favor very soon & we will get out of this sooner than later. so to kick off this year, I decide to tackle a song that you may or may not like, but the lyrics are definitely a stark but somewhat accurate prediction of the future. Hey guys! so I am back with another episode for this free version of my podcast and I do have some sad news to report. one of my dearest & closest friends passed away & he was actually a guest on my podcast early on. his name is Andy Paley & If you've been a veteran listener of this show, you would have heard the episode that we did together back in 2019 (you can listen to that one for free). Out of all of the people I have had on my podcast, I without a doubt became the closest to Andy. he was more than just a podcast guest. he was a great friend of mine & I absolutely have been feeling the absence of him from my life even before he passed away. I definitely miss him but that's really the thing. he loved this music just as much as I do but he was of the generation who heard it when it was new way back in the 60's.
