Fighting climate change means juggling a thousand moving parts, from how we power our cities to how insects sustain our ecosystems. Artificial intelligence is uniquely equipped to take on that scale of challenge, analyzing massive data sets, predicting problems before they happen, and unlocking solutions humans alone could never achieve. In this episode, hosts Dominique Silva and guest co-host Rebecca Handfield (BrainBox AI) speak with Jean-Simon Venne, co-founder of BrainBox AI and leader of the BrainBox business at Trane Technologies, and Dr. David Rolnick, Assistant Professor at McGill University and co-founder of Climate Change AI. They share how AI can slash building emissions, extend equipment life, and open up new frontiers in biodiversity research. We also take a behind-the-scenes look at Trane Technologies’ new AI Lab in Montreal, where the next generation of HVAC innovation is being designed and created. With a focus on practical applications over theory, the lab is harnessing AI as a powerful ally in the fight against climate change, while keeping ethics, responsibility, and trust at the center of every breakthrough. About Healthy Spaces Healthy Spaces is a podcast by Trane Technologies where experts and disruptors explore how climate technology and innovation are transforming the spaces where we live, work, learn and play. This season, hosts Dominique Silva and Scott Tew bring a fresh batch of uplifting stories, featuring inspiring people who are overcoming challenges to drive positive change across multiple industries. ×In week five of our series, we turn to 1 Timothy 5:1-16 to see how The Church of the Living God is A Family. Operating as a family is one of the most vital elements of a living church. This week, we focus on two marks of a living church that functions as a family: respect and generosity.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In week 4 of our series, The Church of the Living God, we turn to 1 Timothy 4:6-16 to explore what it means to be A Trained Church that remains strong – especially in trying times. Here at Redemption Church we WILL NOT BE SILENT about the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk. There is perhaps no one else who has audibly proclaimed the gospel to more people evangelistically in person and online than he has over the last decade, if not century. Make no mistake, this isn't just about politics, this is about good and evil. Take note, as well, that the church as a whole responded in worship and not with violence, which we are confident would not be the case if the person taken from us had been from the atheistic socialist camp. We took time last Wednesday and this Sunday to engage in instructing our congregation on how to best biblically respond to such evils.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In week 2 of our series, Church of the Living God, we dig into 1Timothy 1:12-17 to see three signs of God’s mercy and how we canrespond to them to be the Merciful Church we’re called to be.Paul was the best example of God’s mercy. He literally killed Christians. In fact, he wasn’t just the trigger man; he was the one planning and funding the killings! In light of what our nation is going through after the senseless assassination of Charlie Kirk, it is ok to be motivated by anger, but we are to move in mercy. We kick off our new series, Church of the Living God, with a powerful reminder that the aim of our charge is love. This week is what we call a stand‐alone sermon. It’s an opportunity for Pastor Steven to preach on something God has laid on his heart. Next week, we’re launching the series “Church of the Living God,” inspired by his personal New Testament reading this summer. However, before we proceed, he wants us to focus on and remember this one thing this week: God loves you! Website:www.experienceredemption.com Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemption Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In our 12th and final week of “Christ Over All,” we close with Colossians 4:7-18. Pastor Steven digs into some of the characters and themes present at the end of Paul’s letter, including: ministry, redemption, sacrifice, restoration, a Kingdom mindset, and finishing our work.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In week 11 of “Christ Over All,” we are in Colossians 4:2-6, where we see Paul begin to wrap up his letter. Throughout this series and study, he’s been showing us how Christ is supreme over all things, including the home and the workplace. Here, Paul is going to give final instructions to the church on how they can be helpful to the greater mission of Christ—-focusing on prayer, preaching, and public living.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In Week 10 of our “Christ Over All” series, we turn to Colossians 3:22-4:1. Last week, we focused on what it means to have Christ in the Home, and this week we shift to the workplace. Here, Paul offers insight and instruction that, when seen rightly, allows work to become proper worship and an effective witness.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In Week 9 of our Christ Over All series, we examine Colossians 3:18-21. This passage is pretty straightforward —and yet it is profoundly different from the world’s prevailing mindset. To be clear, the point of this text is not to make us feel good or to be contextualized to our modern culture, but to answer the question: What does the Bible say a Christian household is supposed to look like?Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
Week 8 of our series studying Colossians continues in chapter 3, verses 12-17. In Part 1, two weeks ago, we looked at two of Paul’s three Christ-exalting commands to shape our new way of living. We’ll explore the 3rd this week —to put on (what is righteous). Here, Paul offers instructions for putting on and living a Christ-honoring life. It’s not just about Church Week, revivals, Worship Nights, and mountaintops...it’s about pursuing Christ every single day and growing as the body of Christ.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…

This weekend, we welcomed back Pastor Josh Whitlow. A lot has happened since his family relocated to Arizona to launch Purpose Church. In just two years, they’ve already seen over 300 come to faith in Christ and 130 baptized! We’ve been cheering them on from afar, and we’re thrilled to have him back with us to bring a powerful message on prayer. As we step into Church Week, this message challenges, encourages, and reminds us that when we call out to God like a child running to a loving father, something truly powerful is released. Let’s look at Acts 12 to see what can happen when the church prays!Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In the 7th week of Christ Over All, we turn to Colossians 3:1-11. Here, in part 1 of my message, A Christ-Honoring Life, Paul begins to describe the kind of life that flows from being redeemed by, made alive in, and set free in Christ. We are called to something greater and are given three Christ-exalting commands that shape this new way of living. Today, we’ll look at the first two. We’ll explore the third in the second part of this message in two weeks.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In Week 6 of our "Christ Over All" series, we turn to Colossians 2:16-23, where Paul challenges us to live in the freedom Christ has won for us. He warns against slipping into legalism, spiritual elitism, and man-made religion—reminding us that true transformation comes through Christ alone.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In week 5 of our current series, Christ Over All, we examine Colossians 2:9-15. Here, Paul offers a simple yet beautiful reminder of what happens when we invite Christ into our lives as our Lord and Savior. As Pastor Steven walks us through it, he highlights four important points to consider as we examine what it truly means to be Alive in Christ.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
It’s likely you’ve had a loved one taken captive by philosophy and empty deceit —lies often disguised by other names. In Week 4 of our "Christ Over All" series, Steven walks us through Colossians 2:6-8 to highlight the enemy’s process, describes in detail some specific philosophies (lies) that are used, and then outlines a path we can take to fight against them by making sure that our roots are growing deeply in Christ, not in the world, so that we aren't taken captive. Last week, in our series, Christ Over All, we were reminded that because Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation, and the Creator in whom all things work together, we should then worship and work for Him, and worry less. In week 3, we focus more on how we work for Christ. What role do we play in working toward His mission of making Himpreeminent and reconciling all things back to Him?Christ works through His church. Steven preached on “Dangerous Churches” from this passage at our ClearTruth Conference this Spring. The world needs dangerous churches —churches committed to post-denominationalism that combat the Spirit of the Age and produce partners in the Gospel. Let’s look at our text.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
Last week, we concluded our discussion with the beauty of the Gospel — how we’ve been delivered, transferred, and qualified—through Redemption (a buyback). Picking up in verses 15-23, we learn the who and how —Jesus! Today, we examine three descriptions of Him and explore three ways we can apply that knowledge.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
We begin our new series, Christ Over All, studying the book of Colossians. This week, we delve into the first 14 verses of Chapter 1 to see that whenthe clear truth of the Gospel takes root in a local church, it transformseverything—our identity in Christ, our community, and our mission—producing fruit, fueling growth, and inspiring gospel-driven action.Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
At the start of the year, Steven preached on “How to Take a Promised Land” from Joshua 1. Today’s message is a follow-up on how to avoid losing it. In today’s text, Israel faces unexpected defeat despite God’s promise of victory. Joshua is stunned. Maybe you’ve been there too—on your journey of redemption, holding onto God’s promises, when things suddenly go wrong. Why? That’s the question we’re exploring. One potential reason: hidden sin can stall forward movement. What does it mean to live a truly blessed life? In Deut. 28:1–14, God outlines the incredible blessings that follow a life of faithful obedience to His Word. In week 4 of A Series of Sermons, we explore the covenantal promise of blessing —not just for ancient Israel, but for all who faithfully obey God, in Christ, today. In week three of A Series of Sermons , we t u r n t o Genesis 32:1-12 and see a great return. It’s been nearly 20 years since Jacob left home with nothing but a staff in his hand. He ended up in his Uncle Laban’s household by God's providence. While there, the Lord greatly blessed him. Now, after years of growth in both his family and his wealth, God is calling him back home. Jacob returns to fulfill the promise made to his father, Isaac, and grandfather, Abraham, and to play out his role in God’s redemptive story. Website:www.experienceredemption.comFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/experienceredemptionInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/experienceredemption…
In week 2 of A Series of Sermons, we look to Acts 6:1–7. The early church is experiencing explosive growth—and the real problems that come with it. The issue in this passage is essentially a money and operations problem. At the time, the church had two major groups: the Hebrews and the Hellenists. In modern terms, think “KJV-only Baptists vs. everybody else.” The Hellenist widows were being overlooked in the daily food distribution, and tensionswere rising. The apostles stepped in. They acted quickly and wisely—not just to resolve the immediate conflict, but to create a structure for the future. Their decision in that moment of crisis didn’t just keep the peace—it produced lasting fruit. So what can we learn from this? Here’s the first key question: What should a church do when growth leads to conflict? Second: What role do you play in that solution? And third: What might God do ifwe handle this correctly?
