Hauser’s Pharmacy, located at 225 Nelson St. Wallaceburg, embodies the essence of a hometown business, where familiar faces greet you and expert care is always within reach. At the heart of its operations is pharmacist and manager Delynne Marlatt, whose commitment to the community extends beyond filling prescriptions. Today we sat down with her to learn more about magnesium and discuss its importance. Magnesium, often overlooked in daily health discussions, plays a vital role in overall well-being. Its benefits range from supporting muscle function and heart health to aiding in relaxation and sleep. However, not all magnesium supplements are the same, with different types serving distinct purposes. Some forms are more easily absorbed by the body, while others target specific health concerns. Understanding potential interactions with prescriptions is crucial when introducing magnesium into a wellness routine. Certain medications may not pair well with it, making professional guidance essential. Beyond supplements, a variety of foods naturally contain magnesium, including leafy greens, nuts and whole grains, providing options for those who prefer to meet their nutritional needs through diet. Hauser’s Pharmacy remains a trusted resource in the community, offering personalized service and guidance. With operating hours from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m., they make access to quality care convenient. 1 Wallaceburg's Mark Childs discusses his new book - 'The Book of Endless Sorrows: An Anthology with Contributions from Many Voices' 6:26
Wallaceburg resident Mark Childs has published a brand new book entitled: "The Book of Endless Sorrows: An Anthology with Contributions from Many Voices". Dana Haggith caught up with Childs to discuss the book, which was published on March 13, 2025. Here is the full description: "The Book of Endless Sorrows is an anthology that combines a diverse range of voices and stories, each contributing to a rich tapestry of themes and narratives. The first story, "Hereafter Life After Life," presents Solomon, responsible for overseeing the arrival of the newly deceased at the Gate of Judgment. The narrative covers the judgment process and the separation of memories from the spiritual essence and focuses on themes of purification and redemption. Much of the anthology explores the darker aspects of the afterlife, with vivid descriptions of the Dredge, a sealed underground prison for the most tainted souls. Little Johnny, a noteworthy story, contrasts the otherworldly themes of the book. It follows Jonathon William Green, or Little Johnny, through his turbulent childhood in Greenwich Village during the hippie revolution. The narrative blends humour and poignancy, depicting life in a chaotic and unconventional setting. Overall, this compelling anthology weaves together themes of life, death, and the afterlife, blending humour, tragedy, and hope. Each story adds depth to the overarching narrative, making it a thought-provoking and engaging read. If you enjoy exploring different perspectives on existential themes, this book is worth your time." The book is currently available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and soon on Walmart online. It will be available in Wallaceburg later this week, which will be $6 cheaper than online.…
