Simon is currently His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs Chief Investigation Officer and Director of HMRC’s Fraud Investigation Service (FIS). He is also proud to have helped establish the ‘J5’, the Joint Chiefs of Global Tax Enforcement, which is an operational alliance to tackle those who support international tax crime. Simon has led tax and money laundering investigation, enforcement, intelligence, and supervision teams throughout his career with the UK's tax and customs authority.
