It all comes down to this. Reddington vs Cooper a battle to the death over one Marvin Gerard. Ok maybe not til the death but they are at odds with each other and Marvin has other plans.

Case Profile for Marvin Gerard ConclusionPart 1 of this week's episode takes us back to the night of Liz's murder, again, but this time it is super important because we finally get the the answer to how did Van Dyke know Liz was going to be where she was. Enter this seasons big bad in Marvin Gerard who for the first half of the finale gives us his flashback to the past two years and why he did what he did to kill Elizabeth and take over the Blacklist.
Part 2 begins the hunt for Marvin. Cooper needs him alive so that he can avoid prison the God of death aka Red wants Marvin dead to rights for the murder of Elizabeth Keen. Both men will stop at nothing to accomplish their missions. That is unless Marvin can stop both men at the same time. What's that? Perked your interest? The interest of the AG was interested in hearing Marvin out as well. But in the end Red values loyalty above all else and Marvin played his last hand.
