This week we discuss the winner of the 2018 Cannes Film Festival Jury Prize, 'Capernaum'. This film follows a young boy, Zain, who runs away from his family following the marriage of his 11 year old sister to a local business owner. We see him struggle with a life in poverty, eventually resulting in him suing his parents for being born when they didn't have the financial capacity to look after him or his siblings.
