SHOW NOTES!!
on PK pressure-
“Don’t you want to be like your mother and play piano in church?- “No.”
“The voice of God spoke to me about doing music and awakened me unexpectedly watching PTL one night with my parents. I did not even know about hearing God’s voice!”
on spontaneous worship-
“At my first exposure to MorningStar worship- something on the inside of me just woke up! It was an impartation and I went home and started practicing. My Spirit really caught it like, ‘Oh, we can do that! I can sing a worship song and keep playing chords and sing from my heart and sing scripture. And I had my team do it.' I realized that this was inside of me. It was a profound moment that marked my life.”
most holy moment-
“We have the gift and grace to learn to hear God and bring what we hear into the musical worship. We don’t have to figure it all out. We sing those songs and the Holy Spirit comes and moves on everyone and that is worth it. We don’t understand what He is doing but we obey and let Him move.” – Suzy
Kelanie’s def of worship-
“Worship is connected to sacrifice. I see worship unto the Lord as like being a living sacrifice. It starts with humility. It’s about the submission of my heart to serve the purposes of my King. He deserves it. The word worship comes from a humility posture.”
A thought to end with-
We need to know our identity. Know who we are in Christ. Understanding your identity will help you grow in confidence. When we cultivate this journey of our unique identity in Jesus, we grow beautifully and uniquely in knowing who are and what we were born.
