Derek’s career in real estate began at age 7 when he began passing out marketing materials for the local real estate brokerage in Hacienda Heights. He obtained his real estate license right after high school and obtained his broker’s license at 24 after graduating from California State University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Real Estate. Since then he has been involved in over 3,500 real estate transactions totaling over $800,000,000 in sales volume. He has lead the Oie Group to be consistently ranked as one of the top real estate teams in the country by The Wall Street Journal/Real Trends and has been relied upon for his expertise on the market from news organizations such as the L.A. Times. Derek prides himself on his attention to detail which has lead to a large base of repeat and referring clientele.
