When is an appropriate time to start selling to your social media audience? In this video today we talk about the two routes that you may take to make money from your social media audience.
Route 1 being to launch a product or service and build a social media audience with that product ready to go - and immediately start selling to the audience at the same time you are building it.
Route 2 being to build your audience and establish yourself and then launch to an audience who already knows you and trusts you.
We talk about the pros and cons of each option and some of the factors that you should consider before deciding which one is right for you.
I share some of my thoughts on selling "high ticket" and why high ticket ( higher price point ) often means higher risk for the buyer and therefore will require you to build more trust.
At the end of the day, if you have a product or a service that you would like to start selling to a social media audience, the most important thing is to try different approaches and see what works. There is no downside to actually trying. The purpose of today's video is just to remind you that there are some various factors that need to be considered before you start promoting something to your social media followers.
