Romans 13 is consistent with what Peter said. 1 Peter 2: 13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. Now having said that, there are instances in which we are to disobey. Moses was hidden from an evil pharaoh for 3 months to escape a mass genocide order. Daniel disobeyed an order not to pray. Three Hebrews refused to bow down to another god. The mask order is close to sacrilege, but must be balanced with wisdom from the word of God. Is the mask killing you? Is it causing you to be sick? Then appeal to the magistrate under the Hippa Act. However, if you are refusing to wear the mask because of your pride, then that attitude is not displaying the Character of Christ. You may choose to resist, but remember God may be using this order to humble us so that our light can shine in the midst of this wicked and perverse generation. 1 Peter 2 19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. I hate masks. I think it is training us to take the mark of the beast, however, people who submit to unjust governmental rules will receive a crown. Enduring hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. The mark of the beast must be rejected totally, however. Don't take the Mark. However, as much as possible, live at peace with all men.
